Kind and nice Honda Toru, even with her slow and little dumb head in addition to her lonely heart, was always blessed with her own gentleness, beauty and cuteness. As a high-school girl who had to suffer through life, her father died a long time ago with a disease while her mother suddenly passed away in a car accident. Toru, then, had no choice but to move to her grandfather's house despite her unwillingness to rely on his retirement money. Unluckily enough, at that time, her grandfather happened to have his house totally under modification and, therefore, he hesitantly asked Toru to go and stay with some friends for that meantime. However, Toru felt uncomfortable herself to disturb anyone.

Toru decided to stay on her own, setting up a tent in the forest, and to do some part-time jobs to reluctantly support her tuition fees. Nevertheless, the heaven never left any merited people. One day, Toru ran into a house belonged to the "Soma" family…It was also a place of the handsome so-called prince, Soma Yuki, and a suspicious story composer, Soma Shigure. It was then that all three realized that Toru's tent was in the area possessed by the family of Soma. Not so long afterwards, a land collapse occurred and put her tent under a big upheaval of soil…

With Soma's sympathy and compassion in addition to the fact that they had no housemaid, Shigure greeted Toru into their house. Just shortly after, a seemingly smooth life turned into a mess when Soma Kyo appeared, destroying the house ceiling and challenging Yuki for a fight.

With her beautiful mind, Toru tried to stop the fight, but ended up with Kyo in her hold. Boong! (A sound like that in the Coco Crunch advertisement (in Thailand)) Kyo, then, turned into a cat!! Being panicked, she ran to Yuki and Shigure only to get stumbled. As both of them tried to catch her, they boonged into a mouse and a dog. (Sorry, "boong" is just my own English for "change", imitating the sound of physical change of Soma's.)

Umm…It is no longer a story of some normal lives, isn't it?

Then, Shigure had to disclose the fact that the Soma family was all possessed by 12 zodiacal spirits. When their bodies become a little weak and embraced by females, they would then turned into animals according to their zodiacs. Luckily enough, despite the secret leak-out, Toru was allowed to continue on with her life without any memory erased by a special ability of some family members of Soma's. Afterwards, Toru met more and more people in the Soma family, which is full of problems and mysteries… On and on, she was unknowingly approaching another ultimate confidentiality, much more important than the first one.
