It
is obviously a cute story, in which its fantasy is mixed with
beautiful inspiration and good concepts. The road to become a star plus
unchangeable love are perfectly integrated into Mitsuki’s attractive
story. Even if it is pretty much an anime for girls, it is still lovable
for guys (well, I myself also enjoy this nice series). The pace of the
story is rather slow, but many interesting events with so many things
coming up lead to an enjoyable series which you will never get bored.
To mention the style of this story, Fruits Basket and Full Moon wo Sagashite
are very much alike, but this series is packed with more episodes.
The character design is beautiful. Variety of personalities is seen throughout the story, but still each character sticks firmly to his or her style and habitual expressions. Scenes and backgrounds are nicely done. All designs in this story are very similar to Card Captor Sakura. In terms of songs and soundtracks, Full Moon wo Sagashite does not seem to be as outstanding as I first expected even if this series is very much about singing and music. However, those songs are still an entertaining music, which people won’t mind listening to. In overall, Full Moon wo Sagashite is recommended for everyone regardless of gender or how old you are. In fact, children are strongly encouraged to see this series because they have even more dreams than most adults. This is the story that you would always remember that a dream could come true when you really search for it. No matter how long it takes, you will certainly see your own “Full Moon”. Just never forget to follow your dreams!!! Full Moon wo Sagashite ne! (= Let’s search for the Full Moon)…Let’s do it together. ^^x ****
